The South Central Railway has cancelled one train and diverted another due to cyclonic conditions prevailing in the East Coast region.
Train no 22872 Tirupati-Bhubaneswar Weekly Express scheduled to depart Tirupati at 12.45 a.m. today, has been cancelled, a release issued today by South Central Railway said.
Train no 18646 Hyderabad-Howrah East Coast Express, which left Hyderabad at 10.00 a.m. today, has been diverted to run via Kazipet, Ballarshah, Nagpur and Jarshuguda.
Yesterday also, several trains running along the east coast were partially cancelled or diverted due to cyclone ’Phailin’.
