The Hyderabad Regional Chapter of Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID), the representative body of the Interior design professionals, announced the annual MYK Laticrete –IIID Awards 2010 to felicitate the interior designers of the Hyderabad regional chapter.
The recipients of the awards will be honoured at the MYK Laticrete awards night to be held on April 23.
Mr Shantanu Chaudhari, Chairman, IIID Hyderabad, said through this annual competition IIID aims to promote and acknowledge the excellence in the interior design field. The awards recognise the design of the participants and adjudge them on different parameters —originality, creativity, space planning, environmental responsibility, fidelity to client's brief and cost effectiveness.
According to a statement, the awards would only consider projects completed during 2010. All the awards are classified into different categories such as commercial, public spaces, residential apartments, residential bungalows/villas, hospitality areas and young designers.
Mr Amarbir Palta, Vice President, MYK Laticrete, said that the awards will spur designers to come forward with higher levels of excellence.
