The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas will host roadshows in Houston in the United States of America and Calgary, Canada for the Discovered Small Fields Bid Round 2016, an official statement said on Tuesday.
Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Petroleum and Natural Gas, will visit Houston and Washington DC from July 13 to July 18. The Minister will launch the international roadshow for the discovered small fields in Houston and also meet Ernest Jeffery Moniz, Secretary of Energy, USA in Washington, the statement added.
During the roadshow, a data room will also be opened in the office premises of ONGC Videsh Ltd in Houston.
Pradhan will review issues of bilateral hydrocarbon cooperation during his meeting with Moniz. The Minister will hold interactions with various think-tanks in the hydrocarbon sector in Houston and Washington DC and also visit the technology centres working in the sector.
