Reliance Infrastructure said it has been re-accredited with the ISO 27001 certification for its power distribution business. ISO 27001 is an information security management system (ISMS) which is a widely-recognised information security standard in the world. It provides a robust model for implementing the principles governing risk assessment, security design and implementation, security management and reassessment. It also ensures the security of information. The company was conferred the certification in 2007 also. The current recertification is valid till 2015. The British Standards Institute (BSI) conducted a thorough audit of various IT processes of the company before awarding the certification, Reliance Infra said.
