Dell India is gearing up to strengthen its presence in Coimbatore in a big way.
The company is looking at a four-fold increase in its team size from 500 to 2000 in the next three years in Coimbatore.
Mr Ganesh Lakshminarayanan, President, Dell India and Managing Director – Dell International Services, said that most of the growth for Dell in future would happen in tier-II towns such as Coimbatore and Chandigarh among others.
“Our facility is now in an SEZ here and we are focusing on applications and BPO services,” he said.
Speaking on the sidelines of the 12{+t}{+h} edition of Connect Coimbatore, Mr Ganesh told Business Line that their facility in Coimbatore would grow to 2-lakh sq feet in the next three years.
The company would be moving to its own facility here within the next two months.
