Social shopping platform Limeroad is hosting a collection of authentic chikankari kurtas from Ada Designer chikan studio in Lucknow.
Designs from Ada have kurtas and sarees available in fine embroidered works of bakhiya (shadow work), keel kangan, phanda (knot work) and murri. With its association with Limeroad, Ada brings its goods from Hazrat Ganj, the heart-land of Lucknow.
Rhea Punjabi, the owner of Ada said ‘chikankari’ has moved from home decor to ladies western wear, with novel patterns on traditional sarees to new-age tops.
Suchi Mukherjee, CEO and Founder of LimeRoad.com, said the online site is building a discovery platform that allows women to unearth products that are usually hard to find.
