E-commerce major Amazon has agreed to sell handicrafts of Telangana on its online platform. A team of Amazon executives has met Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao and agreed to sell the handicraft articles made by the self-help groups.
The list of handicrafts that might be available on the e-commerce site include the wooden dolls made by artisans in Nirmal and sarees made by Pochampally artisans.
Amazon is likely to enter into an agreement with the State government shortly in this regard.
