Anthill Venture, a start-up investment firm, and Suresh Productions, have announced their second accelerator run by Anthill Studio for media and entertainment start-ups.
Anthill Studio, which has concluded its maiden cohort on Wednesday, has invited start-ups to submit their applications by January 15, 2019 for the second accelerator, scheduled to start early next year.
It selected ComicFlix, NewsPlus, RecoSense, Rooter, Saranyu, Scapic, and Woodcutter Film Technologies for the maiden cohort. The start-ups developed products in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, Visual Effects , Cloud Rendering, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data.
Prasad Vanga, founder and CEO of Anthill Ventures, said “We have hubs across the world that will help international start-ups to gain access to the Indian market.”
“We need to hold the attention of millennials by providing the content they like to consume,” Rana Daggubati, Actor and a promoter of Suresh Productions, said.
