The Supreme Court on Friday issued notice to the CBI on the bail plea of Satyam founder Mr B Ramalinga Raju and his brother Mr B Rama Raju, accused in the case of accounting fraud involving the company. The CBI will have to file their reply by November 3 (after the Diwali vacation), when the matter will be heard again. The court, however, did not grant the two an interim relief and said asked why they had delayed in filing the application.
The apex court had recently given bail to five other accused in the case. Besides the two brothers, the company's former Chief Financial Officer Mr Vadlamani Srinivas has also applied for bail.
