Personal computer (PC) manufacturer Asus on Wednesday launched products based on Windows 8 from its Touch Family, including a dockable tablet (Asus VivoTab RT TF600 TG), and lightweight notebooks (Asus VivoBooks F202E & S400).
It has also launched the Asus Taichi dual-screen convertible ultrabook/ tablet that can display two screens simultaneously.
“We intend to surpass the ‘touch future’ of the IT industry by launching Asus Taichi and Asus VivoBook,” Alex Huang, Managing Director - System Business Group, Asus India said.
The Asus Taichi is priced at Rs 1,39,999, the VivoBook F202E at Rs 39,999, while VivoBook S400 and VivoTab RT TF600 TG are priced at Rs 59,999 and Rs 61,999 respectively, the company said.
