With reports of people committing suicide after losing heavily on several betting apps, the Telangana police have slapped cases on several social media influencers for promoting the apps.
Acting on a complaint, the Panjagutta police have booked an FIR (First Information Report) on these social media influencers under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyasa Samhita Gaming Act and Sec 66D IT Act.
