Connect 2011, this year's information, communication and technology event of Tamil Nadu, will be held on Wednesday. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Ms J. Jayalalithaa, will be the chief guest in the one-day event, which will feature a conference, an exposition and the Connect 2011 Award.
The Confederation of Indian Industry in association with the Tamil Nadu Government is organising the 11th edition of the ICT event, at the Chennai Trade Centre.
The theme of this year's event is “Towards Innovation and Emerging Entrepreneurship – Tamil Nadu leads the way”. Some of the speakers at the include Mr S Ramadorai, Advisor to Prime Minister on Skill Development & Vice-Chairman, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd; Mr R Chandrasekaran, President and MD, Cognizant Technology Solutions; Mr T.T. Ashok, Chairman, CII Southern Region; Mr N. K. Ranganath, Chairman, CII Tamil Nadu; and Mr Avinash Vashistha, Chairman & Country Managing Director, Accenture India.
The key sessions are emerging technologies, emerging opportunities; ecosystem for technology led innovation. There is also a Theme Session on Innovation & Emerging Entrepreneurship – Tamil Nadu leads the Way; a CEOs Panel Discussion besides presentation of Connect 2011 Awards.
