Mr Mark Zuckerberg, Founder and CEO, Facebook, will ring The NASDAQ Stock Market Opening Bell Remotely from the company's headquarters in Menlo Park, California.
This is to celebrate Facebook's initial public offering, which will take place today on The NASDAQ Global Select Market.
Facebook will begin trading under the ticker symbol "FB". In honour of the occasion, Mr Zuckerberg will ring the opening bell.
The live opening bell ceremony will also be streamed on Nasdaq.com from 9:28 to 9:32 a.m (US time), says a media advisory issued by Nasdaq .
