Four startups have been adjudged finalists for the Panasonic-T-Hub Innovation Challenge to drive adoption and commercialisation of the cost-effective wired communication technology, Nessum WIRE, in India.
The four startups – Ayka Control Systems, GoVidyouth Mobility, PureLogic Labs India, Xeeed IO – will work closely with India Innovation Centre (IIC) and Panasonic Holdings Corporation (PHD) - Nessum teams.
The Innovation Challenge was initiated in September 2024 and startups from India and abroad were invited to leverage Nessum technology. As many as eight startups were shortlisted for the Demo Day out of the 197 startups that applied for the programme.
Nessum WIRE is an advanced Japanese communication technology. It is a plug-n-play, cost-effective, solution for data communication over existing wires. It holds promise in a country like India where enterprise customers do not prefer disturbing their existing network infrastructure. Yet they want to address communication issues in remote or inaccessible areas such as basements, and manufacturing plants.
