Dragon Ball XenoVerse For the first time in the game’s history, the protagonist of the game would be a user-generated fighter. While this isn’t the first time that a Dragon Ball game features a user-created character, it is definitely interesting to see how the central character would be generated with its own powers. The other levels of customisation include visual characterisations, such as race, sex, build, head, clothing and even voice. Namco Bandai has reached a level of awesome visual graphics with its new games on next-gen consoles, so we can expect amazing graphics from XV as well. The game is set in a new city of Toki-Toki, with a fully destructible 3D environment. Fighting spaces will also be expanded, and swimming is also enabled along with running. With 12 Master Quests, 50 Parallel Quests, 200 skills and 400 pieces of equipment to choose from, this one’s bound to keep you hooked until the year ends.

Total War: Attila For PC and strategy gamers, this is the most awaited game of the season. The ninth instalment of the Total War series, Attila is a huge strategy game spun over a virtual world that stretches from Bactria to Lusitania to Caledonia to the Sahara. Total War: Attila features over 50 factions, each with its own unit roster and agenda. You can choose from either ten, which start out as just barbaric hordes without any sense of organisation, or over 40 others which have their own set regions and capitals. As the game has expanded, players will get more building slots in the provincial capitals to justify the scale of their civilisations, and siege wars are now conditional. Coming from the house of Creative Assembly, we can expect some mind-blowing graphics and challenging gaming engines.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Wild Hunt will be the concluding part of the witcher Geralt of Rivia’s life, the series' protagonist. But the developers claim that even if you haven’t played the previous parts, the experience would be equally enjoyable. The popular role-playing game now features a completely reworked fighting system, and new movement dynamics which include horseback fighting, swimming, a new witcher-sense and new applications of magic. The players will also have access to new weapons such as crossbows. The best thing to watch out for in Wild Hunt is the environment – the publishers say that the environment is 30 per cent larger than ever before – that explains why exploration is now aided by horseback travelling and sailing. There are some one-off playable characters too, such as Ciri, an exceptional swordfighter and a powerful magician.
