Google has started to roll out code blocks in Docs for users to format and display code with ease. According to reports, earlier, users had to paste and manually apply styles by highlighting syntax to add code to a document.
Users have the ability to visualise code with industry standards. However, the feature does not have admin control. This feature does not have admin control.

Here’s how to use
- Go to the insert menu in the document.
- Select building blocks and code blocks.
- Choose the programming language.
Options available include C/C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, and Unset, 9to5Google reported.
The feature is not available to users with personal Google Accounts, Google Workspace Essentials, Business Starter, Enterprise Essentials, Education Fundamentals, the Teaching and Learning Upgrade, Frontline, legacy G Suite Basic, and Business customers.
This comes after the company rolled out a new Material You toggle design to its Docs, Sheets and Slides.
