Google has introduced a new way to search - in mobile with a touch-screen or in a tablet. The new feature enables one to search just by writing on the screen.

Typing on a mobile keyboard can be a pain while travelling. Precisely clicking on the letter can be an arduous affair even when we are in a hurry.

Google search’s new feature does away with the keyboard totally. Once enabled, the user can write anywhere on the screen using the finger or stylus. Google captures what has been written and inserts it on the search bar.

In a Blog post on handwrite Rui Ueyama, Software Engineer, says: “Handwrite enables you to search by just writing letters with your finger almost anywhere on your device’s screen — there’s no keyboard that covers half of the screen and no need for hunt-and-peck typing.”

To enable handwrite for web search, go to Google.com in the mobile browser, and tap on settings at the bottom, enable handwrite and save the settings. Once the feature is enabled, you can go back and write anywhere on Google’s search screen.
