Taxi services provider Meru Cabs is offering 30 per cent cash back on every trip paid using its ‘My Wallet’ in a bid to regain its leadership position in the segment that is getting highly competitive with players such as Ola and Uber.
Powered by Citrus Cash, the wallet is available on the Meru Cabs app.
According to a company statement, Meru has continued to customise services for its customers and this is one more such attempt.
With over 60 per cent of its revenues coming from mobile applications, Meru has digitised itself by offering unique features in its app ‘Meru Cabs’. My Wallet is India’s first cab wallet that enables travellers to store cash for travels and can be used for payment of the trips, the company added.
Rathin Lahiri, CMO Meru Cabs said, “The Meru Cabs app is the most convenient way to book a cab with just one touch. We want to offer customers easier ways of booking and managing their travels. With My Wallet, Meru enables consumers to book cabs for a later time with cash-back offers.”
