Personal computers and smartphones maker Lenovo on Thursday launched next-generation Yoga Tablet 2 powered by Intel processors priced between ₹20,990 and ₹47,990.

The company will be retailing these products exclusively on Flipkart, starting Friday, it said.

The range of four tablets in Yoga Tablet 2 includes 20.32cm Android (₹20,990)

25.65cm Android (₹28,990), 25.65cm Windows (₹34,990) and 33.78cm Android (₹47,990).

While the 20.32cm tablet will be available from Friday, the 25.65 cm and 33.78 cm Android and Windows models will be available by mid-November, the company said.

The new range of the tablets comes with new features such as full HD, Dolby Wolfson HiFi audio, 8MP rear and 1.6 HD front cameras, they come powered with the new Intel Atom processor Z3745 for better performance coupled with a battery of up to 18 hours.

“We are aiming to achieve global sales to the tune of 100 million PC+ devices, including tablets this financial year. Owing to our increasing focus on digital millennials, India as a youth market forms a crucial part of our PC+ strategy,” Rohit Midha, Director, Tablet Business Unit, Lenovo India, said.

He said the association with the online player like Flipkart will make it possible to expand the reach to the country’s online and tech-savvy audience.

“Yoga Tablet 2 coupled with this association will help us in further strengthening our position in the tablet category,” he said.
