Nick Lochrin, Head of Business Strategy and Deal Design in APAC, Nokia Networks, has said that cloud deployment will go up significantly in the next few years. “Cloud applications will account for 90 per cent of mobile traffic by 2018,” he said.
Addressing the maiden edition of ‘Idea Spotlight’ here on Thursday, he said that enterprises would more integrate mobile value-added services deeply into their businesses to deliver advanced services to their customers. Idea Cellular has organised the Spotlight in association with Nokia Networks to discuss mobility solutions for “building effectiveness and efficiency to enhance customer experience for enterprises”. Paul Robinson, a motivational speaker and writer, said that institutions and corporates must be careful about their strategies and watchful in identifying the changes that were creeping in. He called it ‘institutional myopia’ when companies refused to acknowledge the changes happening around.
“You must be the first one to see the change. Future is not something that’s very distant. It is already here,” he said.
