Post-paid customers of Tata DoCoMo, the GSM brand of Tata Teleservices, will now be able to receive calls for free while roaming in the country. As part of a new ‘Roam Free' offer, customers will not have to pay incoming roaming charges, while outgoing roaming will be charged at one paisa per second.
Currently, this offering is available on three plans: roam free 299, roam free 499 and roam free 799. “Customers can now roam the country anywhere on our network, free of the stress of picking up an incoming call as incoming roaming is absolutely free on these plans. In addition, they can continue to make outgoing calls on per second billing,” Mr. Pankaj Sethi, President and Head of Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd, said.
