Visual computing company nVidia has partnered with Bangalore-based Lava International to launch five new mobility devices by the first quarter of next fiscal.
The new ‘Xolo’ devices, a combination of tablets and smartphones, would be based on nVidia’s ‘Tegra 4’, an Android-based tablet platform recently unveiled by nVidia
“There is an Android computing revolution underway. Any computing device whether a smartphone or tablet, a TV or in a car, Android has democratised computing,” said Jen-Hsun Huang, Co-founder, President and CEO, NVIDIA.
Vishal Sehgal, Co-Founder and Director, Lava International, said the Tegra platform will “deliver a high-technology device at an affordable price.”
The pricing range of the Tegra 4-power ‘Xolo’ devices has not been disclosed.
