These cameras are a must-have if you intend to embark on an adventure filled holiday! Made to endure all your outdoor activities, be it cycling down a mountain, skiing on the snow-covered slopes or biking in the tropics, these cameras can be mounted on a surface such as a helmet or a motorcycle tank. This WiFi enabled camera can shoot in 1440p48, 1080p60, 960p100 and 720p120 video modes which let you playback your videos even is smooth slow motion. It’s also packed with an Auto Low Light mode, which changes frame rates based on lighting conditions for low-light performance. You can capture stills at 12MP at up to 30 frames per second, with time lapse of up to 60 seconds. Sony HDR AS 100V If a GoPro isn’t your thing, and you’d like to stick to the brand that revolutionized the camcorder, you should try out the Sony HDR-AS100V. This little camera is a mountable or wearable point-of-view camera, which comes with a splash and dustproof construction. If you want more protection, there’s an all-weather case that you can buy separately. The AS100V comes with high resolution video recording, which is full-HD, built-in GPS tracking, and a shutter speed of 1/10000 for its 13.5 mega-pixel still photos. The camera also features a rather enormous field of view, at 170 degrees. As with most Sony products, this camera comes with Carl Zeiss optics. You can also buy a Live View remote separately for more control.

iON Air Pro 3 Unlike the GoPro and the Sony cameras, iON’s Air Pro 3 comes in a versatile cylindrical form factor, making it very versatile for helmet or vehicle mounting. It is also very waterproof even without an additional casing, unlike the others. The camera is equipped with a 16mm f2.8 fog-free lens, which offers a 160-degree angle of view. But users get an option to make it tighter, with a 140 or 150 degree angle. The camera uses a Sony-made 12-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, which is augmented by a powerful image processor. The Air Pro 3 can shoot 5 or 12 megapixel stills (in 4:3 aspect ratio), in either 10-shot high-speed burst mode or as a time-lapse at intervals of 2, 5, 10, 30, or 60 seconds.
