Persistent Systems Ltd has posted a profit-after-tax (PAT) of Rs 40.6 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal representing a YoY growth of 12 per cent. On a QoQ basis, the company’s PAT grew 25 per cent.
Total revenue grew 37 per cent YoY to stand at Rs 268 crore, while the company’s dollar income stood at $51.66 million, representing a YoY increase of 19.6 per cent.
Interim Dividend
The board of directors has declared an interim dividend of Rs 3.50 per share for FY'12.
Dr Anand Deshpande, Chairman and Managing Director, Persistent Systems, said: “As we step in 2012, we continue to see growth in our focus areas viz cloud computing, analytics, collaboration and mobility. In spite of the volatility in the market, we see a lot of business opportunities in this space.”
During the quarter, Persistent expanded its presence in Nagpur and inaugurated a new facility with a seating capacity of 1,250 people.
