Prime Minister Narendra Modi has overtaken Indonesian President SB Yudhoyono to become the third most followed world leader on Twitter. Modi (https://twitter.com/narendramodi) had around 5,087,980 followers against Yodoyono’s 5,08743 followers (https://twitter.com/SBYudhoyono).
US President Barack Obama (43.9 million) and Pope Francis (14 million) have more followers than Modi on Twitter, according to a statement from Twitter.
