Tech Mahindra has posted a 20.26 per cent fall in consolidated net profit of Rs 805.30 crore after special adjustments during the quarter ended December 31, 2014. The software services exporter had posted a net profit of Rs 1,009.83 crore during the comparable quarter of previous financial year.
Its total income on a consolidated basis rose to Rs 5,770.74 crore during the quarter under review, as against Rs 4,852.85 crore during the same period a year ago, it said in a regulatory filing.
On a standalone basis, the company posted a net profit of Rs 710.77 crore (after special adjustments), compared with Rs 924.65 crore posted during the quarter ended December 31, 2013. Total Income rose to Rs 5073.61 crore (Rs 4180.57 crore) during the reporting period.
