The Telangana Government has announced its plans to establish two new IT parks in the suburbs of Hyderabad.
D Sridhar Babu, the State’s IT and Industries Minister, said a detailed study was underway to identify suitable land parcels for the IT parks. “We are evaluating suitable areas in the city’s outskirts to ensure seamless connectivity and accessibility for employees and investors alike,” he added.
He made this announcement during a meeting with the top officials of Dew Software company at his chambers in the Secretariat. The company has proposed to invest ₹100 crore in the city. The facility is expected to hire over 900 professionals over the next five years.
Acknowledging challenges faced by industries in acquiring land, Sridhar Babu said the government was readying a comprehensive policy to facilitate land allotments.
“The new policy will allocate land based on the scale of investment and the number of jobs created,” he said in a statement on Tuesday.
