The University of Waikato in New Zealand will offer a masters degree for Indian students interested in learning about cyber security.
The university has inaugurated two new cyber security initiatives to a gathering of more than 100 academics, IT professionals, privacy experts and others with an interest in cyber security.
It has established New Zealand’s only dedicated cyber security lab and also introduced New Zealand’s first masters degree in cyber security.
Faculty of Computing and Mathematical Sciences Dean Professor Geoff Holmes says demand for cyber security professionals is growing rapidly, both in New Zealand and overseas.
