About 50 small and medium enterprises have evinced interest in getting listed on yet to be launched BSE Small and Medium Enterprises exchange, a top BSE official said on Friday.
“Already 50 companies have shown interest and 50 per cent of them have already signed the mandate with merchant bankers,” the BSE SME Exchange Chief Executive Officer, Mr Lakshman Gugulothu, told reporters here.
“Many companies from services sector manufacturing and even in textiles were among those interested,” he said. He said the Exchange was expected to be launched in this month but they were yet to get the final approval.
“From the date of receiving the approval, it will take one month to launch,” he said.
