Bata India foreign promoter had hiked the stake in the company marginally by 0.95 per cent though secondary market transaction on November 12.
According to a disclosure to the exchanges, the company said Bata India (B N) B V bought 6.08 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 888.05. Following the transaction, the promoters’ holding in the company has increased to 52.95 per cent from 52.01 per cent.
The stock, meanwhile, was trading higher by 1.4 per cent at Rs 981.
