Steady conditions prevailed on the wholesale pulses market today as prices moved in a narrow range on scattered deals, and settled around previous levels.
Traders said adequate stocks position against sporadic demand mainly kept wholesale pulses steady.
The following are today’s pulses quotations (in rupees per quintal): Urad 3,500-4,000; Urad Chilka (local) 4,600-4,900, best 5,000-5,500, Dhoya 5,300-5,400; Moong 3,450-4,450, Dal Moong Chilka local 4,200-4,600; Moong Dhoya local 4,700-4,800 and best quality 5,400-5,600.
Masoor small 2,950-3,250, bold 3,050-3,300, Dal Masoor local 3,600-3,700, best quality 3,750-3,900; Malka local 3,550-3,600, best 3,850-3,950, Moth 1,700-2,000; Arhar 3,200-3,700, Dal Arhar Dara 4,650-4,850.
Gram 3,300-3,400, Gram Dal (local) 3,900-4,000, best quality 4,000-4,100, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,550; Rajdhani 1,550; Rajmah Chitra 4,700-6,500, Kabli Gram small 4,900-8,600, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100; Lobia 3,400-3,900, Peas white 2,420-2,450 and green 2,550-2,600.
