About 82% Coonoor tea sold

About 82 per cent of the offer sold at Sale No: 30 of Coonoor Tea Trade Association.

Three grades of Homedale Estate, auctioned by Global Tea Brokers, topped the CTC market, each fetching₹211 a kg.

Its Pekoe Dust topped the Dust auctions when Tea Services India bought it and the two Leaf grades topped when Belmount Tea and Produce Co bought them.

Darmona Estate’s Broken Orange Pekoe followed at ₹206 per kg.

In the orthodox market, Kodanad topped at ₹271 a kg followed by Chamraj ₹242.
