Groundnut mill delivery and mustard expeller oil prices rose up to Rs 100 per quintal in the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today.
Other edible and non-edible oils, after moving in a tight range on scattered inquiries, closed around previous close.
Traders said pick up in demand from local parties mainly influenced select edible oil prices.
In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery oil (Gujarat) shot up by Rs 100 to Rs 8,900 per quintal, largely on increased offtake. Mustard expeller oil (Dadri) oil gained Rs 20 at Rs 6,650 per quintal.
Meanwhile, palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (Kandla) oils remained flat at Rs 6,530 and Rs 6,180 per quintal.
