Negative trend in pulses

Downtrend in pulses and pulse seeds continued amid weak physical demand and buying support from the millers. Besides enthusiastic domestic crop report, availability of huge stock of imported pulse seeds have also contributed to sharp decline in prices. Chana prices in Indore mandis today further declined by ₹200 with chana (kanta) being quoted at ₹3,550-3,600 a quintal . Masur (bold) traded at ₹3,350, while masur (medium) ruled at ₹3,000. Moong (bold) was at ₹5,000-5,100, while moong (medium) ruled at ₹4,500.
