Spot rubber rates were not available owing to a hartal at Kottayam on Wednesday. In futures, February contracts declined to ₹90.90 (92.42), March to ₹92.99 (94.54), April to ₹95 (97.41) and May to ₹99.50 (101) a kg for RSS 4 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) slid to ₹85.14 (85.41) at Bangkok. February futures weakened to ¥148.3 (₹84.66) a kg on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange.
