Spot rubber finished marginally higher on Friday. RSS 4 improved to ₹130 (129) a kg, according to traders. The grade firmed up to ₹129 (128.50) and ₹126 (125.50) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and the dealers. The trend continued to be mixed and the volumes low. January contracts weakened to ₹131.50 (131.99) on the NMCE. RSS 3 (spot) improved to ₹107.18 (105.08) at Bangkok. January futures firmed up to ₹117.25 (115.82) on the TOCOM. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 130 (129); RSS-5: 125 (124); ISNR 20: 114 (115) and Latex (60% drc): 89.50 (89.50).
