Gold futures on the MCX opened higher at Rs 29,208 for 10 gm on Friday against the previous close of Rs 29,184. It made a high of Rs 29,298 and a low of Rs 29,155. It was down by 0.03 per cent at Rs 29,174 at 1.47 pm.
In Comex, the yellow metal for June delivery was up by $8 at $1,557 a troy ounce at 1.45 pm.
