Gold prices today fell Rs 28 to Rs 26,675 per ten grams at the futures trade amid weak global cues.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, February contract fell Rs 28 or 0.1 per cent to Rs 26,675 per ten grams in a business turnover of 71 lots.
Similarly, the far-month April contract shed Rs 18 or 0.07 per cent to Rs 26,950 per ten grams.
Analysts attributed the fall in gold futures to a weak global trend.
Gold fell 1.42 per cent to $1,182.90 an ounce in New York yesterday.
