ICICI Securities has reported a drop of 34.27 per cent in consolidated net profit at ₹101.17 crore for the quarter ended December 2018 against ₹153.94 crore. Total revenues decreased 18 per cent to ₹404.75 crore (₹493.85 crore). On standalone basis, the broking firm’s PAT decreased 33.36 per cent at ₹102.32 crore (₹153.55 crore) and revenues by 17.8 per cent at ₹405.84 crore (₹493.83 crore).
Shilpa Kumar, MD and CEO, said, “As the fundamental India growth story continues, we believe that the structural opportunity in the financial savings market remains attractive. Our long-term growth strategy is two-pronged — increased customer acquisition, and increased engagement with them.”
