The Government's biggest divestment for 9.5 per cent in NTPC is set to hit the market at a floor price of Rs 145 a share on Thursday.
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) on Tuesday gave its nod for 9.5 per cent divestment in NTPC.
The share sale in the largest power generation company is likely to fetch about Rs 12,000 crore. The issue is seen as one of the big ticket divestment to meet the Rs 30,000 crore target set for 2012-13.
