The 2G scam will now haunt Bharti Airtel stock as the Central Bureau of Investigation registered a case against the company, along with Vodafone and a ex-Government official, for alleged irregularities in spectrum allocation. Bharti Airtel issued a statement after a raid on the premises saying: “We would like to categorically state that all the spectrum allotted to us from time to time has been strictly as per the stated Government policy. We are providing all details and correspondence to the authorities and shall provide complete support as needed in the matter.” However, the market will take its own course.
