The share allotment committee of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise has approved the allotment of 32.76 lakh equity shares to Dr Prathap C. Reddy.
Consequent to the above allotment, the paid-up share capital of the company has increased to Rs 69.5 crore (consisting of 13.9 crore equity shares of Rs 5 each) from Rs 67.9 crore (13.5 crore equity shares of Rs 5 each).
Post this allotment, there are no outstanding warrants pending for conversion.
The company had issued and allotted 32.76 lakh warrants to Dr Prathap Reddy, one of the promoters of the company on February 5, 2011.
Each warrant is convertible into one equity share at a price of Rs 472.46 a share. Dr Reddy has exercised the option of conversion of the warrants into equity shares on July 24.
