Hindustan Unilever was broadly firm on Wednesday morning, leading the pack on the NSE as well. At 11 am it was trading at Rs 800.30 as against Rs 774.70 at close on Tuesday. This was a gain of 3.30 per cent.
A day after the rout in the markets, both the Sensex and the Nifty were trading flat in the absence of directional cues.
Asian Paints rose 2.45 per cent at Rs 775 as against Rs 756.50 at close yesterday.
Kotak Mahindra Bank was trading at Rs 1,281.10. This was a gain of 2.38 per cent on the overnight close at Rs 1,251.35.
NTPC charged up 2.08 per cent to trade at Rs 142.10 as against Rs 139.20 at close on Tuesday.
Reliance Industries gained 1.47 per cent at Rs 848.40 as against Rs 836.10 at close previously.
