Auto shares revved up to emerge the top gainers on the BSE near the close on Thursday. At 3.15 pm Tata Motors was up 3.24 per cent at Rs 401.85. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 389.25.
Dr Reddy’s Labs edged down a tad to trade at Rs 3,903. This was up 1.43 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 3,848.
M&M build on its early momentum to trade at Rs 1,360 against Rs 1,341.55 at close overnight. This was a gain of 1.38 per cent.
Maruti Suzuki drove up higher to notch up gains of 1.12 per cent at Rs 4,236 against Rs 4,189.15 at close yesterday.
Wipro was up 0.62 per cent at Rs 589 against Rs 585.35 at close yesterday.
