The board of directors of Bharti Airtel will meet on Tuesday to consider raising funds by issuing bonds through private placement. The company however, did not disclose the amount it plans to raise. The board will also announce its Q3 results.
The fund-raising plan follows Jio announcing that it is getting an infusion of ₹30,000 crore from Reliance Industries, to be spent on expansion and improvement of its network. Investors will closely monitor the quantum of fund it plans to raise.
