Bharti Airtel was the top gainer on the BSE near the mid-session on Tuesday. At 11.40 am it was trading at Rs 393 as against Rs 383.35 at close on Monday.
HDFC built gains of 1.90 per cent to trade at Rs 1,369.85 as against Rs 1,344.25 at close yesterday.
Sesa Sterlite moved up 1.86 per cent to quote at Rs 194.50. The share had ended the overnight session at Rs 190.95.
Sun Pharma was up 1.81 per cent at Rs 1,042.50 as against Rs 1,024 at close on Monday.
M&M drove up gains of 1.46 per cent at Rs 1,200 as against Rs 1,182.70 at close overnight.
