Cairn India surged 4.45 per cent to lead the pack on the NSE at 11.14 am on Wednesday. The share was trading at Rs 180.70 as against Rs 173 at close yesterday.
BHEL was on a firm wicket, trading up 3.09 per cent to quote at Rs 248.80 as against Rs 241.35 at close yesterday.
Larsen & Toubro built up gains of 2.62 per cent to trade at Rs 1,710.55. The share ended the overnight session at Rs 1,666.90.
Reliance Industries rode up 2.45 per cent to trade at Rs 905.35 against Rs 883.70 at close yesterday.
IndusInd Bank traded up 2.38 per cent at Rs 828.45 against Rs 809.20 at close last evening.
