The Government move to divest a 10 per cent stake in Coal India on Friday through offer-for-sale will impact the stock on the bourses on Thursday. Through the issue, the Government plans to mop up ₹24,000 crore. The Centre plans to sell 31.58 crore shares through the OFS and the floor price will be disclosed on Thursday after the market hours. Of the total sale, 20 per cent is being reserved for retail investors. The Government offers a 5 per cent discount to the bid price they entered.
