BGR Energy Systems has bagged an order worth ₹2,600.02 crore from Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (Tangedco) for execution of a thermal power project. The order is for execution of balance of plant equipment/systems, including civil works for 1x800MW — North Chennai Supercritical Thermal Power Project, Stage — III, in the premises of the existing NCTPS at Ennore and Puzhudhivakkam Village, Ponneri, Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu, on EPC basis, the company said in a release to the BSE. The contract has to be completed in 36 months, it added. Including this, BGR Energy’s order book now stands at ₹7,429 crore. Shares of the company surged 5 per cent at ₹123.45 on the NSE.

Ujaas Energy said it has received an order for design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of rooftop grid connected solar PV system of 158 Kwp from Airports Authority of India VSI Airport, Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar. The company, however, did not disclose the deal size. Shares of Ujaas Energy jumped 13.36 per cent at ₹34.35 on the NSE.

Pricol has informed the BSE that it has received the certified copy of the Order of the Madras High Court sanctioning the scheme of amalgamation of Pricol with Pricol Pune. The scheme comes into effect from November 1 with the Appointed Date as April 1, 2015. Consequently, Pricol stands dissolved without being wound up, it said. Shares of Pricol slipped about 2 per cent at ₹120.85 on the NSE.
