The board of directors of Unity Infraprojects at a special meeting on Wednesday approved a Corporate Debt Restructuring scheme. It also approved issue of further security to its promoters on preferential basis, increase in authorised capital, alteration of its Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association and a proposal to enter into agreements with related parties. The board also considered converting funded interest term-loans into equity. Shares of Unity Infraprojects slumped 4.44 per cent at ₹24.75 on the BSE.
The board of directors of Century Plyboards (India) on Wednesday approved a proposal for setting up a particle board unit at Chennai at an approximate capex of ₹60 crore. Shares of Century Plyboards jumped 11.2 per cent at ₹192.40 on the BSE.
The board meeting of Warren Tea on Wednesday decided to explore real estate business, including acquisition, development, construction, dealing with lands, buildings, offices, service flats, houses and other residential, commercial or industrial buildings. The company, however, did not specify any other details. Shares of Warren Tea closed at ₹158.60, a gain of 0.7 per cent over the previous day’s close on the BSE.
